COMPETITIVE RATES

Subject to approval, items may be brought in for consignment to the Auctions Unlimited Auction house located at 9526 Linwood Ave., Shreveport, LA 71106.  We accept most items! (NO JUNK) We accept antiques, collectibles, household, lawn & garden, furniture, etc.  Arrangements to bring items in for consignment must be made in advance for scheduling by calling 318-469-2472.  Rates for items consigned vary depending on items consigned and final value of such items.  We will take some reserve auctions but there is a fee if the item does not meet the reserve asking price. 
Consignors must sign our contract agreement to consign their items to Auctions Unlimited.   Items consigned are to be sold at a public auction to the highest bidder.  The consignor must guarantees clear title, free and clear of all liens or mortgages of any kind whatsoever.  Consignor also must declare and guarantee that the items consigned are the sole property of the consignor and that the consignor has the authority to sell property to another person.  The consignor maintains ownership responsibility on all property consigned until such time that the property has been sold by the auctioneer.  The auctioneer is released from all liability whatsoever resulting in the theft, vandalism, fire, or other circumstances causing damage or loss of items consigned.   The consignor authorizes the auctioneer to deduct the commission agreed upon from the proceeds as stated in their contract.  Consignors are paid 7-15 days following the auction.  Checks may be picked-up or will be mailed at that time provided that all necessary paperwork has been submitted to the auction company.   Consignor must disclose any known defects, broken or any other information pertaining to items consigned that may affect the value of items sold.
Auctioneer acting as the Agent for the seller.  The auctioneer, Debra Johnson, auction house employees, and subcontractors are acting as the "Agent" for the seller.   Any disputes over ownership provisions is between the Buyer and the Seller.   Buyer agrees to hold harmless and indemnify the Auctioneer, Debra Johnson, auction house employees, subcontractors, its agents, and employees from any claims or damages which might result from any auction.   It is the sole responsibility of the Buyer to have conducted prior inspection of the seller's rights to sell.
Disputes.  The auctioneers of the sale shall designate the winning bidder after each item is auctioned.   If a dispute arises between two or more bidders, the auctioneers have the right to reopen the bidding.   The auctioneers designation of the buyer shall be final.

Rates quoted for consignment are for auctions held in our auction house only.  Special rates may be given to companies or individuals who contract us to conduct auctions on their property.
